This is something that has been on our hearts for while. Whether the kids that come into our home stay for a day or a month, we hope that we can have a positive impact. Hopefully one day, we will be lucky enough to have a placement that gets to stay forever.
October 2011: Move to TN, attend Orientation.
January 2012: Complete PATH training classes.
February 2012: Assigned a home study case worker!
March - April 2012: Home study visits.
June 4, 2012: Approved! And assigned a family case worker.
Currently: Making inquiries on a nation adoption website, and waiting on temporary placement calls.

- Sometimes "Happily Ever After" doesn't go according to plan. This is the story of the turns my life has taken since my husband became a soldier, and since our seemingly simple desire for a baby became an uphill battle. Recently diagnosed with mild lupus and PCOS, the fight for a family continues after 3 years, 3 lost angel babies, and the start of our journey into foster care.
